In-Home Pet Euthanasia Services

Quality of Life Consult

Our licensed veterinarian will come to your home to complete a through physical evaluation of your pet’s condition and assess their quality of life. We will discuss concerns, answer questions and develop a plan for euthanasia should it be time. The consult does not include administration of medications or ongoing management of your pet’s care. If additional care is needed, we may recommend other services. Depending on your pet’s condition you may decide to proceed with our humane, compassionate in-home pet euthanasia post our consult.

Euthanasia Process

A licensed, skilled veterinarian will  travel to your home and discuss the process of humane in home pet euthanasia for your beloved four-legged animal. Paperwork and consent will be taken and we’ll discuss after care options.

Our compassionate veterinarian will gently administer a sedative to ease any discomfort and allow your pet to be calm and comfortable. After a thorough assessment is performed to confirm the pet is in a safe, unconscious state the euthanasia injection will take place. During this practice you are welcome to stay by the pet’s side or you are welcome to step away from the room at any point. The euthanasia dose allows the pet to pass peacefully with no pain or distress. Overall the process take no more than 15 minutes.

Post passing, our team will give you privacy to say your final goodbyes.

After-Care & Transportation

If cremation is your choice for aftercare, your pet will be gently wrapped and placed securely in a carry out receptacle. Your pet will be respectfully transported to our partner cremation facility. Upon request, we are happy to make a courtesy call to your family’s veterinarian to share the news of your pet’s passing.

Aquamation

Aquamation, also called water-cremation, is a sustainable form of cremation that mimics the naturally occurring process in nature when an animal passes. With the reduction of fossil fuels, water-based cremation achieves a remarkable 90% energy savings in comparison to traditional cremation methods. As a more gentle method, there are no direct emissions of harmful greenhouse gasses and the process yields 20% more ‘ash’ that are lighter in color and fine like sand. Your decision to choose flameless cremation goes beyond just commemorating your pet companion, it becomes a meaningful contribution to the planet, creating a profound and lasting connection to the world they once knew and loved.
