Our licensed veterinarian will come to your home to complete a through physical evaluation of your pet's condition and assess their quality of life. We will discuss concerns, answer questions and develop a plan for euthanasia should it be time. The consult does not include administration of medications or ongoing management of your pet's care. If additional care is needed, we may recommend other services. Depending on your pet's condition you may decide to proceed with our humane, compassionate in home pet euthanasia post our consult.
A licensed, skilled veterinarian will travel to your home and discuss the process of humane in home pet euthanasia for your beloved four-legged animal. Paperwork and consent will be taken and we'll discuss after care options.
Our compassionate veterinarian will gently administer a sedative to ease any discomfort and allow your pet to be calm and comfortable. After a thorough assessment is performed to confirm the pet is in a safe, unconscious state the euthanasia injection will take place. During this practice you are welcome to stay by the pet's side or you are welcome to step away from the room at any point. The euthanasia dose allows the pet to pass peacefully with no pain or distress. Overall the process take no more than 15 minutes.
Post passing, our team will give you privacy to say your final goodbyes.
If cremation is your choice for aftercare, your pet will be gently wrapped and placed securely in a carry out receptacle. Your pet will be respectfully transported to our partner cremation facility. Upon request, we are happy to make a courtesy call to your family's veterinarian to share the news of your pet's passing.
